ABOUT IDB

38 साल पुरानी ये तस्वीर उसी जगह की है जिसे मैं अपना मंदिर और आप सभी IDB के नाम से जानते है। इस तस्वीर में दिख रहे मेरे पिताजी श्री हुकमचन्द शर्मा जी, उस दौर कि कहानी बयान कर रहे हैं जब राजस्थान में एक भी पेट शॉप नही थी। सन् 1957 में मेरे पड़दादा श्री किशनगोपाल जी ने अपने लाडले पोते यानी मेरे पिता के जन्म पर उन्ही के नाम से इसी जगह पर उत्तर भारत के सबसे पहली वेटनरी मेडिल स्टोर "हुकम मेडिकल" की नीव रखी थी। मेरे पिताजी को शुरू से ही डॉग्स पसंद है और इसी क्रम में उन्होंने आगे जाकर हर घर में कुत्तों के प्रति प्यार बढ़ाने और हर घर में हर घर में डॉग रखने की नियत से इंटरनेशनल डॉग बाज़ार (IDB) की नीव रखी थी, ये वो समय था जब जयपुर में सिर्फ 30-40 गणमान्य रईस लोगों के पास ही डॉग हुआ करते थे और कोई आम आदमी डॉग पालने की सोच भी नहीं सकता था, हालात ये थे की किसी नए आदमी को उस समय प्रचलित डोबरमेन या पोमेरीयन आप फ्री में देते और साथ में हजार दो हजार रुपए उसे पालने के लिए भी देते तो भी वो उस पप को नहीं लेता।

तीन पीढ़ियों पहले शुरू किए इस सफर में तब से लेकर आजतक इतना बदलाव आया है की आज जयपुर में 1 लाख से अधिक परिवारों के पास घर में डॉग्स है। जिसमें सड़क से कचरा बिनने वाली डॉग लवर महिला से लेकर भारत के अनकों सेलेब्रिटीज और राष्ट्रपति तक ने ऐतिहासिक IDB को ही अपने जीवन में डॉग्स को लेने के लिये चुना। इन डॉग्स ने घर की चौखट से बढ़कर लोगों के दिलो में जगह बना रखी है और मेरे पिता जी के लगाए इस पेड़ के फल से हजारों परिवारों को रोज़गार मिला हुआ है व उनके घर परिवार पल रहे है।

IDB की नींव की ताकत मेरी माँ है! अपनी माँ की दिए हुए संस्कारों से ही, IDB के संस्कारों का निर्माण हुआ है। उनके जीवन का संघर्ष ही मेरी ताकत और उनका त्याग ही मेरी हिम्मत है !!!

My Journey of Taking IDB Ahead

• As a flag bearer with an aim to revolutionize the Pet Industry, I along with my team has worked hard in creating an awareness towards imparting a pet culture, setting standards of pet-behaviour and helping with pet-psychology on a never before level.

• The Pet business in the city was unorganized and unrecognized sector in India but today with the contribution of many this Industry extends employment and generates an income for more than 1 million households amounting to more than INR 12,000 crore Industry.

• With unique customer awareness initiatives and workshops, the dog owning families in Rajasthan has increased from 300 to over 2 lakhs to realize the dream of “IDB ka ek hi sapna, har ghar mein ho dog apna”

• Our persistent efforts from the last 25 years by organizing Dog shows within the city of Jaipur with an aim to spread an awareness about breed standard has helped to improve and maintain the lineage of popular dog breeds

• My love for these four-legged angels has christened P.A.W.S (Protection of Animal and Welfare Society) for the social upliftment of strays and underprivileged animals by contributing our part of giving back our selfless love for these mute companion

Viren Sharma has made a history by recording hightest number of adoption of 2000 stray puppies in a day and set a New world record on 14th February, 2021 at Jaipur, Rajasthan, India for 131 stray puppies adoption in a single camp.

KCR is the official organization to conduct all Dog Shows in Rajasthan. It is the KCR endeavour to promote the welfare of every dog, by laying down norms for ethical breeding & promoting breed standards through various shows & events. The Kennel Club of Rajasthan is the only certified all breed club in Rajasthan affiliated with kennel club of India working for the betterment of canine game in this state. KCR has conducted more than 25 dog shows in Rajasthan since 2003 consecutively.
